Great food, fun atmosphere, good service.

An excellent place to take the family and friends. Very generous portions, easy to split with someone. Breakfast is great anytime. The staff is always very friendly and engaging.

A great Cajun restaurant. Amazingly fun atmosphere. Awesome food and flavor as well as sweet and friendly servers. I had the seafood gumbo and red beans and rice and both were excellent. Such good flavors. Hot food. Spiced perfectly. This will now be my Tyler Texas go to spot from now on.

First time to eat breakfast here. Food was good. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. Coffee was fresh, hot and refilled timely. Will be back again.

The food was delicious! Great service too. I was nervous since I'm not from around here, but the grilled barramundi came with pineapple pico and it was a hefty serving (2 pieces!). The garlic bread was awesome too. I subbed fries for a twice baked potato.

I saw this eatery in a commercial on an Outdoor Channel fishing show. Three days later my wife and I were there. This is our new "go to" restaurant for fish, shrimp, and Cajun food. They have a large menu, family atmosphere, great wait staff, and very good food. The portions are huge so get ready for leftovers! If you are tired of the chain restaurants, do yourself a favor and go eat at Happy's.

The restaurant looks great inside and out - very clean. As with most good eating establishments, during peak mealtimes parking can be an issue. The food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The catfish was well-textured with a tasty cornmeal. The shrimp were perfectly battered. If you choose the white fish, you will not be disappointed. You can order entrees baked or fried. All of the staff were friendly and the manager (possibly the owner) went to each table to check on his guests.

When traveling through Texas stop in Tyler and get you some Happy’s. Awesome place with a lively interior and even better food. Huge portions and huge variety of options. Everything seemed really fresh and we were in and out in no time.

The fish is really good. I got the fried white fish with coleslaw and grilled veggies. My reason for 3 stars is that the sides are in tiny little paper containers. Maybe 3 good bites of coleslaw. They could be a bit more generous in that respect.

Happy's Fish House made me happy! Our server was the best. He was witty and took great care of us. Our fish taco plate looked and tasted delicious; the cheese grits are yummy as well. Definitely coming here again!

Staff was very attentive. Food was great. Most normal setting since quarantine has been lifted.

While in Tyler, I was referred to Happy's for a local, authentic Cajun meal. I love seafood and was not disappointed at all. I had a med bowel of gumbo, stuffed crabs, sauteed veggies and rice and beans. I topped it off with a key lime pie to go. Service was prompt and wait staff was patient, friendly and made a great recommendation for my meal and dessert. The gumbo was spiced perfectly and delicious. Hush puppies were the best I've ever had. I savored every bite of the stuffed crab. Real crab meat!! Veggies we're delicious and pie was good. It is a bit pricey, but I would splurge here again for the right occasion. Highly recommended!

Service was good, food is decent. The sides are a tad small. Coleslaw comes out in a tiny sample cup. The potatoes came out with 2 on the plate.

Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful! Service was outstanding! We will definitely be back!If you get grilled fish like I did, I highly suggest getting the topping added with Cajun butter! My wife's pound of snow crab plate was huge!

Went for fathers day lunch and the food was good. My wife got the shrimp and was disappointed that it only 4 small shrimp but she said it was delicious!

Very much like an awesome experience! Sam, the young lady helping us was a breath of fresh air. Totally prepared and even concerned for our comfort. The food is plentiful and flavorful. Be prepared to have something to take home!!

Extremely fast ticket time from order to food on the table for seafood. Our waiter Judd was quick. Which is what needed for our lunch break. They serve breakfast all day if you want. But I can't resist the shrimp platter.

What happens when you go to a cajun seafood restaurant and can't decide what to order? Breakfast, with eggs and spicy potatoes, don't forget the sausage. Expensive for a breakfast, though the atmosphere is tourist type level.

On the recommendation of the Lone Star Harley Davidson staff my friends and I chose to dine here. Friendly staff, great food and fun ambiance! I had white fish wrap and my friends each got the catfish strips. We got these sides and shared... creole potatoes, okra, dirty rice, red beans and rice, cole slaw and hush puppies and they were all delish!

Highly recommend any seafood lover to stop here. 1st time visit tonight an it was super good! Our waiter was extremely tentative, answered all our questions,friendly, polite & patient ! (cause I had no clue what I wanted to order lol) I believe the young mans name was Lloyd. The decor is awesome as well, very laid back vibe. We will definitely be back!!

Happy's has a wide selection of food, most of which is seafood. Even if you aren't a fan of seafood they definitely have something there you will love. Their cheese grits are some of the best I've eaten and I have had shrimp cooked several ways here, all of them delicious.Many of the items are Cajun, so expect a little spice. My wife, who is not the biggest fan of fish, had their fish tacos and loved them!The decor reminds me of eating on the pier, or in a fisherman's shack. Prices are relatively high, but everything is so good, it's worth it! Most meals will serve 2. Servers are attentive and fast, I can't say enough good things. Definitely in the top 3 seafood restaurants in the area.

Google says this is comparable to Skull Creek Boat House and I’m not sure where on Earth that comparison came from. Food and service were both pretty good, but nothing that blew the doors off. Crawfish is seasonal, oysters were pretty standard. Breakfast all day, which is awesome for those of us who’d rather have a waffle than a plate of seafood. The food and the atmosphere feel like a chain.

I had the gator bites. The white meat was very good the dark me at was rubbery. Service was good.

I always love this place. I love the grilled shrimp and salmon. Mmmmm. You can reach this via the yellow or green line. It is right in the cusp of midtown and right next to Tjc. You can always catch this place pretty busy on the weekends but it has it's slow moments.

Food was good, however this was by far the smallest portion I have ever gotten. Got the lunch catfish and shrimp. 1 fillet and 2 grilled shrimp. All for $13. No thanks

Food was great! Hot and fresh! But most of all customer service was wonderful. I really like my waitress. I have been to places where the waitress would get upset and get attitude because I would be there longer than 45 minutes or so. But our waitress she was fantastic. I think her name was Shyen. We asked her what would she recommend because it has been a while. And she told us two items. She was very patient I had came a few years ago and didn't really like it but now it is great!

I love their pancakes!!! I think it’s kind of strange how they charge $2.00 for chocolate chips, but it’s whatever. Their food here is delicious! I also had a birthday dinner which turned out great! Their catfish has improved as well. I would likely come back in the future whenever I’m around Tyler!

Had an after Church Sunday brunch. Love the fact that they serve breakfast all day. The menu has a good enough variety so as to accommodate most, the food is tasty, and the service is very good.

Amazing! Good food! Great service! I got it delivered for the first time and everything was warm, fresh and in separate containers so not to be too runny. I ordered four meals for the family, catfish, shrimp and the st. Anna and everyone loved it. It’s a must try!

One of our favorite places for casual dinner or a great breakfast. They have seafood, American home style food and Cajun cuisine. The service is always prompt and friendly, the food tastes great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. There’s plenty of seating and the dining area is clean and neat.

My family and I had dinner at Happy's fish house. I tried the St. Charles and it was delicious. Sarah was our server and she recommended the St. Ferdinand and the ribs which were all yummy. She was polite, helpful and made our experience at Happy's HAPPY. 😁😆😊

We bought fired oysters and calamari plates and an oyster appetizer. Oysters were horrible, covered in a thick batter on top of batter. They tasted canned and were the worst oysters I have ever had. The calamari was the same, to much batter and no whole piece, like it was the bottom of the bag. Paid 50 dollars for our meal and was beyond disappointed. Never again. I will go to Red Lobster to get my oysters and calamari.

Some of the best seafood we've had. Highly recommend.
